CBM LETTERS

OCTOBER- 2024

Dear CBM Partners and Friends,           OCTOBER, 2024

Thank you once again for your faithful partnership with us as we continue to bring Christi Life & Health to the communities and villages along the Amazon River!

In our last newsletter we shared the sad story about losing Captain Sanderley that had been
with us for over 10 years! Sanderley had a produced a great disciple because the new captain, Junior, who was San's right-hand person, has continued the great leadership on the boat and off the boat. Everyone has been adjusting well with the changes in leadership and have ccepted well the leadership from Captain Junior.

We have been able to raise the funds to help Kattyanne, San's wife, in the purchase of a house for her and her 3 kids. Continue to pray for her and her family as we continue to help her hrough this process and as she continues her dental schooling.

Since our last newsletter we have been able to continue providing care, building relationships & discipling the villages and communities along the Amazon River. We have done five trips since May, have visited over thirty villages, have provided medical & dental care for over 2,250 people. We have been able to distribute a lot of vitamins, muscle rub, Vick vapor rub sungasses, reading glasses, gift bags with wash clothes, toothbrushes, soap, soccer balls, toys and many many other items that have blessed the families in the villages.

We have been able to have four seminars, that last three days, for our leadership from our villages and missionaries, including one of the seminars tEinga First Aid and CPR training done by our president Of the mission Doctor Woody Wilson & Michael Haubner. Michael was also able to later do the training specifically for the boat crew every Evening during one Of the trilh The boat crew was very in learning how to recognize different medical cmditions that might occur on the boat.

Ruth Anne continues to improve daily, Earl to some trips, Michael retired from the fire department and is now full time with Central Brazil Mission. He or Earl are available to speak at churches, Sunday school classes, meet with mission committees & future grourx going on trips and a ble to attend conferences or mission emphasis at your Church.
