Dear Faithful CBM Partners and Friends, August 2025

What a blessing it is to serve the Lord, regardless of whether it`s in the Amazon or in the U.S. Many of you here in the U.S. are being blessed as you pray and collect medications and vitamins for the Amazon Boat Trips. Just think: Michael and the boat crew with the help of those coming on the trips have made 6 trips in the last 4 months. They have seen and treated 2,700 medical and 535 dental patients! We are reaching new villages with this ministry.

As the boat reaches these villages with the medical help they desperately need, many are coming to know Christ as their Lord and Savior.

One of our new ministries that the boat crew is doing now is with puppets. Before we start treating at each village there is a worship service time and a message for the children and parents using the puppets. It has been a real blessing.

The Amazon mission team of 40-50 individuals are being well trained by Michael, Junior and Pastor Agostinho with the help of a few from the Manaus church. Within the last couple of months they had a 4 day training seminar in Sao Sebastiao and most recent we were able to take the entire team to Manaus for a weekend of training. It was a great and profitable trip and experience for the team. We have a very dedicated team of Amazon missionaries.

We just lost a faithful servant/partner this past month. Dr. Barb Patridge, who helped us on many trips the last few years passed away and will be missed. Dr. Barb gave of herself as she worked on the boat and in the hospitals in Sao Sebastiao and Urucara doing many surgeries. The hospital staff in both places loved her.

If you can and would like to come and help on a trip please let us hear from you. We are now working on filling the agenda for 2028 and 2029.

God is still on the move: We have started working on the dream and vision of the water plane for our work in the Amazon so we can reach more unreached villages.
