Click on Link for e-Visa information:
https://brazil.vfsevisa.com
Note from Merle Franks about obtaining e-Visa:
I thought I should give more details about applying for the
Visa. Click on the apply eVisa now tab. When that opens
there is a list of things to download. I thought I had to send
all of them and I was wrong. You only need to download the
first four. They are, a copy of your passport, a passport
photo, a copy of your bank statement, and a copy of your
itinerary. The key with all of these needs to be 1 mb or less.
Once that is done you can go to the bottom of the page and
click on (Save and Continue). A new page will come up and
ask for information from your passport and other
information. When all of that is done you will be asked to
pay. The cost is $80.90. You will be sent a receipt.
They asked for a contact in Brazil. (Info below).
If anyone has a question or problem, they can feel free to call
me at 608 449 1149.

NEW:  Make sure every team member is physically able to enjoy the Amazon experience. The trips are not usually strenuous, but people with severe health problems, balance difficulties, or mobility issues requiring the use of ambulation assistance devices (I.e., crutches, walkers, etc.) should not come on the boat trips. Central Brazil Mission reserves the right to refuse travel on the boat for any person deemed to be a safety hazard.

NEW:  Make sure your team understands that smoking, the use of alcohol or illicit drugs are strictly forbidden on the boat. Bad attitudes are not well tolerated either !

IDEAS FOR BRAZIL TRIP TEAM PREPARATION:

  • A medical mission team requires a minimum of ten people. We can use up to fifteen people with the understanding that some will be assigned construction projects away from the boat. Each individual must be at least 15 years old.
  • In the event your group is less than ten we may be able to find other people who want to serve who would help complete the number needed for your team.
  • Please notify us six months in advance if you see you must cancel your reservation for any reason.
  • Make airline reservations as soon as possible. We recommend Bob Todd @ World Class Travel bob@worldclasstvl.com – 352-371-3100 to help with travel plans. Groups can make advance reservations and still have a window to cancel without penalty.
  • No eVisa needed until April, 2024.
  • Feel free to contact Earl Haubner, Michael Haubner or Woody Wilson at any time with any questions about your trip.
